Description:

Heathfield recreation ground on powdermill lane is a huge green expanse with a children's playground , football pitches & outdoor gym, free for all to use. It is also the lucky recipient of one of the first Playbuilder Projects established by Richmond Borough in Spring 2010.

The recreation ground is well used by the local community and the playground has swings, nursery swings, climbing equipment, slides, and a zip wire. There is an enclosed football/ basketball area as well as the extensive surrounding grass pitches. It has a path all the way around the recreation ground  and so is suitable for wheelchair users and bikes/scooters alike. It is home to many theatrical events and fairs during the summer months.
