Description:
The Landmark Arts Centre provides a lively programme of arts events and is a distinctive venue for the whole community. The centre is housed in a magnificent 19th century Grade II listed building, formerly the church of St.Alban the Martyr. The church was used for worship until the early 1970s, informally being refered to as the " Cathedral of the Thames Valley" owing to its towering presence. The building was rescued from neglect to become the home of a new charitable art centre providing a dynamic and varied arts programme for the benefit of the local community and visitors to the Richmond Borough.
