Jonny Wilkinson and the rest of the Senior England Elite Player Squad will be strutting their stuff for fans as Twickenham Stadium hosts their third summer open training day on Wednesday, August 11 2010.
England Team Manager Martin Johnson said “It’s a great opportunity for the players, coaches and management to meet the people who follow us every season and we hope to see another big turn out on August 11.”
The squad will be in training to prepare for their upcoming Investec Internationals against New Zealand, Australia, Samoa and world champions South Africa.
Previous open sessions have proved to be hugely popular with 3,000 fans attending in 2008 and 4,500 in 2009. Admission is free and players will be signing autographs pitch side after the training session.
Johnson welcomes the annual event as a chance for his staff to meet the fans, he said: “The open training sessions have proved to be very popular with the fans and the squad".
The World Rugby Museum situated in the East Stand will also be open from 10.00am-5.00pm and entrance tickets will be priced at a special one off rate on £1 on August 11.
