09 September 2010

Description:

Twickenham Stadium will host a crowd pulling Help for Heros charity concert on Sunday September 12th with Robbie Williams headlining. Robbie and Gary Barlow are to preform their new single 'Shame' for the first time the Stadium to an audience 60,000 strong.

True British legend Sir Tom Jones has been added to the amazing line-up. He has quite simply been THE voice of British music since the 1960s. Constantly challenging himself by taking on the demands of a remarkable range of repertoire, he recently released the acclaimed album Praise & Blame, a return to his gospel and blues roots.

His Twickenham performance promises to draw on both traditions – the classic Tom Jones entertainer and the raw, emotional journey of Praise & Blame.

New boyband THE WANTED - made up of the handsome fivesome MAX GEORGE, SIVA KANESWARAN, TOM PARKER, NATHAN SYKES and JAMES McGUINESS, share the same management as THE SATURDAYS and have been confirmed on the bill at the biggest charity gig since Live Earth in 2007.

The Welsh mezzo soprano, Katherine Jenkins has been confirmed to face another extreme performance at the stadium alongside gymnastic troupe Spelbound, winners of Britain’s Got Talent.

Gary Barlow, Pixie Lott, JLS, Kasabian & the Stereophonics with many more acts being announced in the next few weeks. Other musical acts already confirmed for the line-up include rapper Plan B, The Saturdays, Alexandra Burke and James Blunt.

Seasoned comedians,Jack Dee and Michael McIntyre will feature alondside the music acts in what should prove to be a very emotional day. Several more comedy legends are currently in talks with Bruce Forsyth a confirmed fav!

Money raised will go to the families of our Armed Forces who are left without their loved ones. There will be moving tributes to all the servicemen and women who lost their lives in action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
