Danny Care, capped 23 times for England has extended his contract with the Harlequins until the summer of 2013, two years after the World Cup.
Danny is now an established member of the Elite Player squad and has been at Quins for the last four years when he was brought to the club from Leeds in 2006. He was then an understudy to Andy Gomarsall. His rapid rise brought him his first senior England cap in 2008 when he came off the bench for Richard Wigglesworth in Auckland, during England's summer tour of New Zealand.
Danny is a firm favourite wiht Quins fans who will no doubt be thrilled with the news. During his career he has won national honours at every age group level and has also been an integral member of the England 7s squad. Harlequins believe him to be a huge asset to the club .
Danny said, 'I am delighted to have re-signed for Quins; there is no other club I would rather play for. They have been amazing and have really helped to develop my career and make me the player I am. I'd like to thank the club and fans for all their support.'
